How Gocha works
Everything about the mechanics, the data, the token, and the risks — in plain terms.
Introduction
Gocha is an independent storefront and data layer built on top of Collector Crypt gacha. Collector Crypt tokenises real, professionally graded trading cards (Pokémon, One Piece, sports, comics) as Solana NFTs backed 1:1 by physical slabs held in a secure vault. Gocha gives you a cleaner way to browse those packs, read the live economics behind them, and — with the $GOCHA token — earn free rips.
How gacha works
Every rip is a five-step loop:
- Browse — pick a pack ($25–$2,500). See live EV, odds, and stock first.
- Buy — pay in USDC; you sign the transaction from your own wallet (non-custodial).
- Open — on-chain VRF decides your rarity tier, then a second provable step picks the exact card.
- Reveal — you receive one authenticated card NFT with grade, year & insured value onchain.
- Keep / Sell / Ship — hold it, sell back for instant USDC, or redeem the physical card.
Odds (typical, per pack)
| Tier | Chance |
|---|---|
| Common | 75–80% |
| Uncommon | 15–20% |
| Rare | 4% |
| Epic | 1% |
Each machine publishes its own odds and stock live. The rare payoff sits almost entirely in the 1% Epic tier — like any gacha, you win small often and big rarely.
Reading the data
Two numbers matter most, and Gocha shows both:
- EV % = the pack's expected insured value ÷ its price. An EV above 100% looks like free money — but that's the value of the card, not cash.
- Real % = EV × instant-buyback rate ÷ price. This is what you actually get if you cash out immediately, and it's almost always below 100%.
EV also moves in real time as stock changes. Gocha indexes these snapshots so you can see the trend — data that Collector Crypt and Jupiter don't store themselves.
Cards & grading
Every pull is a real card in a graded slab. On each card you can see:
- Grading company — PSA, CGC, or Beckett (BGS).
- Grade — e.g. GEM-MT 10, PRISTINE 10, MINT 9.
- Grade population — how many exist at that grade.
- Insured value — the vault's appraised value, in USDC.
- Front & back images — hover a card in the catalog to flip it.
You can hold the NFT, list it, sell it back for USDC, or redeem the physical card to be shipped from the vault. Custody of the physical card sits with Collector Crypt's vault, not with Gocha.
Provable fairness (VRF)
Pulls use Collector Crypt's on-chain cc-vrf — a verifiable random function. Two independent, auditable steps:
- A VRF roll decides your tier (Common → Epic).
- A second provable step picks the exact card within that tier.
The randomness is bound to your signature, which doesn't exist until you sign — so the result can't be predicted or manipulated. Gocha exposes the proof behind any pull so "provably fair" is a button you can press, not a claim you have to trust.
$GOCHA token
$GOCHA aligns the people who use Gocha with the platform. One rule we never break: the token buys access and reward-share, never better odds.
Holder rewards — the honest design
- Funded by a transfer fee on $GOCHA trades, not by printing tokens or draining a treasury.
- Each week, a share of fees actually collected buys packs, gifted to holders pro-rata by amount held × consecutive hold days.
- Selling any amount resets your streak — rewards favour real holders. Weighting is linear, so splitting wallets gains nothing (Sybil-resistant).
- A 14-day cliff before eligibility kills in-and-out farming.
- Rewards scale with volume: loud week → more rips, quiet week → fewer. The treasury can never run dry because it only ever spends what it collected.

Risks & disclaimers
- House edge. Expected payout is below pack price. Play for fun, not profit.
- Platform risk. Gocha reads Collector Crypt's public API, which may change or require auth at any time. We index data to stay resilient, but availability isn't guaranteed.
- Regulatory. Real-money gacha and fee-sharing tokens are treated differently across jurisdictions. Know your local rules.
- Custody. Physical cards are held by Collector Crypt's vault, not by Gocha.
- Not financial advice. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation, or investment advice.
FAQ
›Is Gocha made by Collector Crypt or Jupiter?
No. Gocha is independent and unaffiliated. It's a front-end + data layer on their public infrastructure.
›Are the cards real?
Yes — real graded slabs held in the Collector Crypt vault, tokenised 1:1 as NFTs. You can redeem the physical card.
›Can I buy packs right now?
Browsing, odds, and the card catalog are live. Buying goes live once our Collector Crypt API key & fee terms are in place.
›Do I need an account?
No. Connect a Solana wallet — that's it. Non-custodial, no signup.
›Does holding $GOCHA improve my odds?
Never. Odds are Collector Crypt's VRF and can't be changed. $GOCHA only unlocks tooling and free-rip rewards.
